Marie Louise of Hesse-Kassel (1814-1895) was a queen consort of Denmark, married to King Christian IX. She was born in Hesse-Kassel, Germany, and was the daughter of Prince William of Hesse-Kassel and Princess Charlotte of Denmark.

Marie Louise was known for her cultured background and her love of the arts, especially music and literature. She played the piano and established literary salons in Copenhagen, where she encouraged Danish authors such as Hans Christian Andersen and Johannes Ewald.
